(“ep-pee-PREM-num OR-ree-um”)

Common name

Golden Neon Pothos

Origin

French Polynesia

How easy am I to care for?

Buy one of my cousins from the nursery:

Our Neon Pothos, or Epipremnum aureum Neon, is a popular climbing / vining houseplant that has attractively variegated foliage. The eye-catching variety ‘Neon’ is relatively new to cultivation and is distinguished by having bright lime green leaves that seem to glow, which can make this plant a real focal point against the darker foliage of other plants or dark walls.

All our potted plants come in compostable coir pots.

Caring for your plant

1.png

Light

Medium light. Avoid direct sunlight.

Watering

Keep the soil moist, but not wet. The foliage benefits from misting with tepid water
3.png

Pruning

The plant can be pruned to maintain shape and encoure more bushy growth – cut back individual vines to a bud. Cuttings can be rooted to produce a new plant

Feeding

A weak solution of fertilizer should be added to the water at every watering

Pest & Diseases

Be on the lookout for mealybugs and two-spotted spider mites, both of which should be physically removed when seen. Significant infestations of mealybugs or their egg masses should be removed by cutting off the affected parts of the plant (likely to be near the tips of the vines).
